Why was the name Mercenaries of Light chosen?

  • Actually, on September 5th 1999 Limp Bizkit and Total Codex first decided to make a clan together, however, it was not at first called the Mercenaries of Light. The first name they both agreed on was Warriors of Light. However, when it came time for Bizkit to register us, that name was already taken. Our second choice for a name was Legion of Light. However, that too was also already taken. Finally, after Total Codex came up with the name Mercenaries of Light, and Bizkit agreed on it, Bizkit was finnaly able to register us since no one had luckily already taken that name.
